“Thrown Down” by Fleetwood Mac
Fleetwood Mac have never, ever, ever made a bad song. “Thrown Down” is one of their latest songs, released in 2003. It’s beautiful melody with Stevie Nick’s haunting vocals makes it one of the band’s most underrated songs.
“The Beautiful Ones” by Prince
The third track from his 1984 album “Purple Rain”, “The Beautiful Ones” is a slow, seductive love ballad featuring Prince’s signature soprano voice, melded perfectly with a brilliant electric guitar.
“So Good” by Nosi, Two Feet
A collaboration with Nosi and Two Feet = heaven. With Two Feet’s other-worldly electric guitar solos and ability to make almost any song as smooth as butter, this is a fab track to have on a gym playlist or before you head out for the night.
“Less Of You” byOmar Apollo
“Less Of You” has a strong 80s sound to it, and Omar Apollo’s voice only adds to the layers of the track. A song about lust, unrequited devotion and a loss of a crush.
“Hertz” by Amyl and the Sniffers
Amyl and the Sniffers can do no wrong. If you’re looking for modern punk, look no further than this Australian band. “Hertz” is addictive (along with the whole “Comfort To Me” album). Blare this out your car, your house, your phone. A brilliant track from a massively underrated group.
