“Good Looking” is the 2017 single from English actress, model and singer Suki Waterhouse, released through Sub Pop Records & Bucks Music Group Ltd. The song gained attention in May 2022 when a sped up version of the track went viral on TikTok.
The slow indie ballad sees Waterhouse reminisce on a relationship filled with secrets and inconsistency, while also discussing the slow breakdown of her realisation of the end of the relationship: “the skyline falls as I tried to make sense of it all”.
The music video for the song was released via Suki Waterhouse’s YouTube channel on the 6th March 2019. Directed and written by Eva Doležaová, the video shows Waterhouse and model Jordan Barrett in The Bowery Hotel in New York City. The pair kiss in lingerie, dance and play fight until Waterhouse falls off the bed and lands in hospital. The pair are then shown smoking cigarettes as they become further and further apart in the room. The video ends with Barrett leaving the hotel room and Waterhouse in a bubble bath, zooming out from Waterhouse’s eyes, showing it was all a memory. As of the 21st June 2022, the video had a total of 1.2 million views.
