Welcome back to our Sunday chart catchup! Here’s the current top 20 songs from the Spotify UK chart. Over time, all songs on the chart below will have a click-through link where you will be able to read each song’s story (those are marked with an asterisk).

This week, Canadian singer and rapper Drake and his sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy” being released on Friday 3rd September 2021. 13 of his latest songs have managed to finally beat Olivia RodrigoLil Nas X and The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber, all of whom have been dominating the charts for the past month. Kanye West also released his latest album “Donda“, also has the track “Hurricane” sitting at #15, despite many listeners and music critics not enjoying the album, due to Kanye‘s choice of collaborators, such as Marilyn Manson (who has been accused of sexual harassment by many women and ex-partners) and rapper DaBaby, who made a homophobic comment at a concert a few months ago.
