“Scorsese Baby Daddy” is the the sixth track on rapper SZA‘s 2024 album “SOS Deluxe: LANA”. The album and track were released on the 20th December 2024 through Top Dawg Entertainment through RCA Records.
“Scorsese Baby Daddy” is a psychedelic rock track that sees SZA describes an unstable relationship; where one individual is volatile, erratic and self-sabotaging, with the other being left to deal with the fall out. SZA longs for a healthy dynamic, while also longing for a “Scorsese baby daddy”, referencing infamous filmmaker and director Martin Scorsese. Scorsese’s characters tend to be criminals, with the films being cinematic and dramatic. SZA could be wishing for a man that has the ability to be both chaotic and loving.
