Here’s a roundup of some of our favourite new tracks released this week:

Reneé Rapp is back with her second single this year: “Mad”. In the rock inspired track, Rapp tells the story of an ex-lover who wasted time being angry at her rather than having fun. Rapp mocks her ex, revealing that they were barely happy with her, creating a fun and cheeky song about missed opportunities at happiness in love.

Absolutely is an incredibly talented singer, and her track “I Just Don’t Know You Yet” is brilliant. It’s an encapsulation of the feeling of being able to fall in love again, and finding someone who makes you believe in love again.

Maroon 5 haven’t released any new material in years, and “All Night” sounds like a mix of their early 2000s sound and their “Moves Like Jagger” era. With a funky saxophone thrown in and Levine’s butter smooth voice, its a great comeback track.

“Gold” is an afrobeats and rap song that will play round and round in your head. J Hus teams up Asake for a track about fame, wealth and standing your ground.

After Capaldi publicly announced his break from singing and songwriting back in 2023, fans have been anxiously awaiting his return. He’s back with “Survive”, an aptly named guitar heavy track where Capaldi discusses grief and pain, and waiting for a time where he will feel better.
