‘Crazy Stupid Love’ indeed. The lyrics say: “You saw right through me, melted me down to the core, I was done when you walked through that door, you make my brain just stop, sink my heart to my feet… I’m in crazy stupid love.” It was originally recorded by Kylie Minogue for her Kiss Me Once album, but Kylie’s manager Roc Nation did not like it, saying it was too poppy. Wilkins later gave the track to Cheryl to record. Cheryl re-wrote several of the verses to personalize it.  She suggested Tinie Tempah to rap on the tune.

‘Crazy Stupid Love’ is Cheryl’s fourth number one single in the UK. It was also the fastest selling single during the summer holiday and of the third quarter of the year. The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) certified it gold for sales over 400.000 copies. The single topped the charts in Ireland and Scotland, and peaked at number 12 on the Ultratip Wallonia chart in Belgium.
